Yesterday evening’s senior match away to Castlemitchell was abandoned following a serious injury sustained by our Darragh Murphy.
We are happy to report that Darragh is now recovering well at home.

While thankfully serious injuries are not common in Gaelic football, this incident highlights the importance of ensuring that all players are properly covered for injuries

All players must have their GAA Injury Benefit Fund in place, which is provided through club membership.

A message has issued to all coaches confirming that no player may take part until membership is fully completed, and there is no discretion in this.
